Resumen
Se presenta el caso de un paciente de 60 años, hipertenso, con diagnóstico de insuficiencia mitral y disnea clase funcional 3.
La disyunción del anillo mitral es una anomalía estructural caracterizada por la separación del miocardio del ventrículo izquierdo y el anillo mitral que sostiene la valva posterior durante la sístole. Se reconoce en esta entidad una asociación clara entre la disyunción del anillo mitral y el prolapso arritmógeno de la válvula.
